The Olds Grizzly’s are pleased to announce that Forward Chris Gerrie will be pursuing his education and furthering his hockey career at the Michigan Tech University starting the 2016-2017 season.
Chris has been a key component of the Grizzly’s success this season. He has 27 points in 28 games in his first half of his first year with the Olds Grizzlys and currently sits 1st in AJHL rookie scoring and 11th in AJHL scoring.
“Chris is a player who is extremely talented and plays hard every night. Chris has a great future and we are very excited to have the ability to help him develop into a NCAA hockey player” Head Coach Brett Hopfe said today.
The entire Grizzly organization would like to congratulate Chris and his family on this accomplishment.
