Per the AJHL, “The Canalta Hotels AJHL Player of the Week is Olds Grizzlys forward Sam Giangualano after scoring six goals in two games last week.” Giangualano played a vital role in beating the Canucks and taking the Storm to overtime with back-to-back hattricks. This is the first time this season a Grizzlys player has won Player of the Week. Congrats, Sam!
Per the AJHL, “Forward Ryder Riedel is the Inter Pipeline AJHL Rookie of the Week with four points in a three-game homestand for the Olds Grizzlys.” Riedel has played a huge role in the team’s success, being fresh off of injury. This is the first time this season a Grizzlys player has won Rookie of the Week. Congrats, Ryder!
