Very close, high pace game at the sportsplex today. Josh McNeil scored in the shootout to close the deal for white. Duncan Hughes and Ty Marcinkowski kept the score at zeros in the first half of the game with solid goaltending and a few eye popping saves. Nolan Spadafor broke the tie 19 seconds into the 3rd with a top shelf finish after a nice pass play from Hunter Floris and Dawson Leroux. White tied it at 3:33 when Josh McNeil knocked the puck between the pads of Bretton Park after a sweet pass from Hunter Leslie. Colby Wolter gave gold the lead again on a breakaway at 11:49 with a quick snap shot. Riley See knotted it up again, at 15:25, after a gorgeous pass from Payton McDonald-Corea. The attendance was 288. Thanks for coming out and showing your support, also many thanks to the refs for helping out this weekend. Practices start Tuesday and the first pre-season home game is Friday night at 7pm when the Calgary Canucks visit.
