This past weekend did not quite work out the way the Olds Grizzlys wanted it to. Despite outplaying both the Calgary Canucks on Friday and the Canmore Eagles on Saturday the Grizz were only able to come away with 2 points. The Grizz outshot the Canucks 36 – 30 but were beaten 2 – 1 in the shootout. Saturday saw more of the same as the Canmore Eagles visited the sportsplex. The Grizz again outshot their opponent 36 – 31 but were defeated in OT.
