The Olds Grizzlys lost to the Drumheller Dragons for the fifth time this season 6-2 on Tuesday night. The loss is the second in a row for the Grizz after falling 3-2 to the Okotoks Oilers last Friday. Tuesday’s game marked the end of a five game homestand which seen Olds go 2-2-1 and move to 2-3-1 in the month of December. The busy December schedule, which will see the Grizzlys play 12 games in 23 nights, continues this weekend as the boys head to Calgary on Friday to play the Mustangs and then Brooks on Saturday. The next home game will be Tuesday, December 18th against the Camrose Kodiaks in the Battle of the Bears. Ironically, that evening will also be the Annual Teddy Bear Toss game. On the 20th, the Grizz head to Canmore, Camrose on the 22nd, and then their final game before the Christmas break will be at home against Lloydminster at 1pm. Skate with the Grizzlys will follow that game.
The Grizzlys overall record now sits at 15-18-2, good for 32 points and sit alone in 5th place in the South Division standings.
