The Olds Grizzlys split thier games this weekend losing 5-2 to the Okotoks Oilers on Saturday night, and winning 7-2 against the Calgary Canucks Sunday afternoon. Scoring for the Grizz on Saturday was Chris Stachiw assisted by Dylan Hubbs and JC Heck assisted by Marc Eremenko. Matthew Marcinew earned Player of the Game.
On Sunday, several Olds players found their names on the scoresheet. Spencer Dorowicz had 3 points (1 G, 2 A), Brandon Clowes had 2 goals to extend his hot streak to 14 goals in the past 14 games, newly acquired forward Damien Kulynych has 1 goal and 1 assist, Marcinew had 2 assists, Hubbs, Heck and Matt Hanger each had a goal, and Bart Moran, Landon Kletke, and Tony Keeler each had an assist. Dorowicz earned Player of the Game for Olds.
Olds will continue to play at home this Tuesday against Brooks, Thursday against Bonnyville, and Friday against Okotoks. Game times are 7:30pm each night.
