The Olds Grizzlys have acquired 20 year old JC Heck from the Sherwood Park Crusaders in exchange for future considerations. The Camrose native is a 6’1” 195 lbs. versatile player who can play both forward and defence. Heck has appeared in 10 games this season and accumulated 2 assists and 29 penalty minutes. In three seasons with the Crusaders, he has 445 penalty minutes and 17 points in 104 games.
“We are very excited to bring JC into our organization. We lost a key member of our team earlier this week to the QMJHL and feel that we brought someone in who plays very similar to Grundy.” said Head Coach Brett Hopfe.
