Grizzlys Captain commits to Stephens Point

The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce that forward BJ Duffin will be pursuing his education and furthering his hockey career at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point.

BJ has been a key component of the Grizzlys' success throughout his career. He has 65 points in 156 games in his three years with the Olds Grizzlys.

“BJ is a player who played his heart out every night and cares tremendously about his teammates and the Grizzly organization.  He is a great leader who has always led by example.  He is exactly what defines a Grizzly player,” stated Head Coach Brett Hopfe.

BJ joins a very successful Division III program who currently sit 2nd in the nation.  UWSP boasts 4 national titles, 3 runner up finishes and 10 NCAA tournament appearances.

The entire Grizzlys organization would like to congratulate BJ and his family on this accomplishment. Good luck next year as you move on to the next level of your hockey career and education.
