Grizzlys extend coaching staff for 3 years!!!!

The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce a three-year contract extension with Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations Brett Hopfe as well as Assistant Coach & Manager of Player Development Dana Lattery. The Grizzlys Interim President Jim Ross had this to say about the extensions “It’s great to have Brett & Dana committed for the long term to continue moving the club forward. We are looking forward to an exciting year with the returning players that we have and the coaching staff in place.” Coach Hopfe is looking forward to continuing to build up the Grizzlys program. “I’m happy that our board has confidence in us going forward & in our ability to coach. We now have an opportunity to build this program and move forward.” Manager of Player Development Dana Lattery stated “ I’m excited to be part of the organization for the next three years. I’m excited to keep building a championship culture here in Olds. We’re very fortunate to be able to work with a great coaching staff. Assistant coaches Jeramie Heistad & Dustin Borbandy bring a lot of knowledge and experience to the team and we are looking forward to another awesome year on the ice.” The Grizzlys also retained Business Operations Manager Joel Hunter with a one year contract extension. Mr. Ross commented on Hunters position “We are thrilled to have Joel Hunter return as our Business Operations Manager, we have lots of work ahead of us and we are sure that he will be successful in his role.”
