The Grizz fell behind early and were not able to catch up last night, losing 5 – 3 to the Okotoks Oilers. Connor Hartley scored with only 35 seconds left in the 1st period and again only 17 seconds into the 2nd period to put the Oilers up 2 – 0. The Grizz battled back to make it a 4 – 2 game by the end of the 2nd period, but could not find the tying goal. Ambrose Fikus would add an empty net goal on the powerplay with only 42 seconds left in the game to seal the victory.
Both Spencer Dorowicz and Chris Gerrie continued their stellar play each racking up 3 points in the loss.
