The Olds Grizzlys hosted the annual RBC night during their last home game on November 4. The night was a success off the ice. The Grizzlys and RBC were happy to welcome a large crowd to the Sportsplex. The atmoshere was great, as there were lots of activities and prizes to be won.
Unfortunately, the success off the ice did not translate in the ice. Our hometown Grizz lost to the Calgary Canucks 3:1 in a tight game.
The Grizzlys will be on the road this week and facing the Drumheller Dragons on Tuesday night before returning home for a doubleheader at the Olds Sportsplex. On Friday, November 10, at 7:00 PM, the Grizz will play host to the Drumheller Dragons as the team gets set to host Minor Hockey Appreciation Night in Olds. The following night, the team will pay tribute to the men and women who served this country during a special pre-game ceremony in honour of remembrance day. On November 11, the Grizzlys will play the Okotoks Oilers at home. Puck Drop is at 7:00 PM>.
