Grizzlys offense shreds Eagles

The Grizz tore the mesh off the net in Canmore on Tuesday downing the Eagles 8-5. Spencer Dorowicz was the popular name on the scoresheet with a hat-trick and assist totaling 4 points. B.J. Duffin also scored a pair and assisted twice for a 4 point game. Christopher Gerrie, Austin Kernahan, and Jack Goranson each scored and added an assist for 2 points apiece. Landon Kletke had 3 assists. Jake Tamagi got the win making 15 saves on 18 shots faced during his 2 periods between the pipes.
The Grizz are next in action with back to back games in Spruce Grove at the AJHL Showcase. Olds will be the home team and have last change against the undefeated league leading Fort McMurray Oil Barons on Friday. The Grizz are back on the ice Saturday to face the Lloydminster Bobcats.
Your next chance to see the boys on home ice will be Tuesday, October 8th when the Grizz line up across from the Calgary Mustangs. Bring your cheering hat, the fun starts at 7:30. Fort McMurray will be in town a few days later on Saturday, October 12th.
