The Olds Grizzlys are proud to announce the LOI signing of Christian Mealey.
Mealey is a 2003 born winger from Calgary, AB who stands 6’2″ and weights 178 pounds who plays this season with the NW Calgary Flames U18AAA.
In 5 games this season, Christian had 1 goal, 1 assist for 2 points with the Flames.
Christian is a big bodied winger who we will look for to play a heavy power forward game that the Grizzlys need on the wings this coming season. He has great north south speed and a deceptive release when shooting the puck.
Christian is another player who attended the Grizzlys prospects and main camp in August (2020) and impressed Head Coach Scott Atkinson & the coaching staff with his battle and compete level and are excited to see Christian in the yellow and Black in the fall.
The Olds Grizzlys welcome Christian & the Mealey family to the Grizzlys family and we are thrilled that Christian has chosen to play his junior hockey in Olds.
