The Olds Grizzlys today proudly announce the LOI signings of Tijs & Lowie Vreys.
Tijs Vreys is a 2003 forward from Penticton BC who stands 5’11 and weights 185 pounds who played this season with Penticton OHA U18 prep. Tijs is a highly skilled forward with a very high level of compete and battle in him. Tijs is a good skating forward who will be counted on to be a point producer while still playing a solid two way game. Grizzlys scouts have been raving about his skill set.
Lowie Vreys is a 2003 Defensemen from Penticton who stands 6’4″ and weights 185 pounds who also played with Penticton OHA U18 Prep. A big physical good skating Defensemen who has a defense first mentality will be counted on to play a big tough defensive game but will not be scared to jump up in the rush. Grizzlys scouts say Lowie brings a elment to the Grizzlys blueline that has been missing.
The Olds Grizzlys welcome Tijs, Lowie and the Vreys family to the Grizzlys family. We are excited to see the Vreys Brothers in the Yellow & Black in the fall.
