The Olds Grizzlys have traded the rights of Brodie Clowes to the Whitecourt Wolverines in exchange for Jordan Kanscal. The Olds Grizzlys then traded Jordan Kanscal to the Calgary Canucks which finalized the trade between the Canucks and Olds for Matt Hanger.
“Brodie had a great first year with the Olds Grizzlys. Realistically, we would only have Brodie for one more year as his dreams are to play in the WHL. We felt if we could get an asset in return, then we would be able to make a deal.” said Olds Grizzlys Head Coach, Brett Hopfe.
