The Olds Grizzlys have hired a new business operations manager. Ryan Vander Wal has taken over the club's business operations manager position from Rob Turville on May 1. He is from Okotoks and works in Calgary for Rogers Radio Alberta where he covers sports for 660 News and Sportsnet 960 The Fan. Along with nearly a decade of experience in broadcasting, as well as more than two years working in newspapers, Vander Wal was also the account manager for eCycle Solutions, an electronics recycling company based in Airdrie. He plans to move here with his wife and two children.
