Grizzlys win and lose big in first 2 exhibition games

The roller coaster of the pre-season was apparent in the first two contests for the Olds Grizzlys. With a young line up they dropped the first exhibition game on Friday night 8-1 to the Calgary Canucks. But the boys bounced back quickly on Saturday, snapping home 8 goals of their own in an 8-4 win over the Calgary Mustangs.
The Grizzlys are the home team against the Canmore Eagles for the third game of the warm up tournament in Calgary at Max Bell Centre on Sunday afternoon.
Tuesday evening Olds is home for their final exhibition game, it’s a 7:30 puck drop versus Drumheller. The regular season action kicks off with the home opener Friday. There is a pregame tailgate party in the parking lot before the 2013/14 edition of Grizzlys hits the ice at 7:30 to take on the Calgary Canucks.
