Grizzlys Win Game 1: Jemieff Gets Game Star

For the second season in a row the Grizzlys have a playoff showdown against the Okotoks Oilers. The Grizz got the start they wanted beating the Oilers 2-1 in front of 652 fans at the Pason Centennial Arena in Okotoks.
The grizz were lead by game star and local player Ethan Jemieff, Ethan made 39 saves on 40 shots. Another hometown player  made his mark on the game, Spencer Dorowicz opened the scoring on the series putting the Grizz up 1-0 at the 4:30 mark of the second frame. Okotoks would tie the game in period two off a goal from Edwardh. In the third period Blair Oneschuk made it 2-1 Olds with the assists going to Hanger and Marcinew. Oneschuk`s goal would stand for the final eight minutes and turn out to be the game winner.
Game two is set for tonight in Okotoks, the Grizz look to take a strong two game lead in the best of five series. The series will shift back to Grizzly Country Saturday night for game 3.
