LOI Signing 2024

The Olds Grizzlys are very excited to announce the LOI signing of Leim Smith from the Edge
School U18 Prep team for the 2024-2025 AJHL season.
Head Coach Scott Atkinson had this to say about the signing “Leim is a player we have been
fortunate to have in or line up several times this season and he is ready to play in this league.”
We believe that Leim excels in all areas of the game as evidenced by his contribution this
season supplying offense to his team coupled with strong defensive play. His high compete
level and his character as a team player are qualities, we highly value.
As an organization we take great pride in working with players that have played their hockey in
Alberta and Leim being from Rockey Mountain House is fantastic representative of Alberta
developed players.
We are very happy that Leim has chosen the Grizzlys to continue his hockey journey, and we
welcome him and his family to the Black and Gold.”
