The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce the LOI signing of Devun Olfert from the U18 Prep Prairie Hockey Academy for the 2023-2024 AJHL season.
Head Coach & GM Scott Atkinson shared “Devun is a player our scouting staff has been tracking from the beginning of this season and was impressed with the growth in his overall game since September. We believe that Devun excels at the game from the hash marks down in the offensive zone. His puck protection and board play is an absolute strength, and it will add to our offense next season. At the Prep level he has ben a consistent contributor on both sides of the puck and we believe he can grow into the same type of role at the Jr A level. We are very happy that Devun has chosen the Grizzlys to continue his hockey journey, and we welcome him and his family to the Black and Gold.”
