Matthew Marcinew of the Olds Grizzlys is the Alberta Dodge Dealers AJHL Player of the Month for December 2012. Marcinew scored 7 goals and 9 assists in 12 games through December and extended his current point streak to 17 games and 21 points. He was also selected as the Pro Hockey Life Player of the Game four times in December 2012.
Marcinew is 9th in the AJHL Scoring Race with 41 points. Marcinew was traded from the Lloydminster Bobcats in November and has played 19 games for the Grizzlys. Marcinew is a 19 year old forward from Calgary, Alberta. This is Matthew’s second season in the AJHL.
