The Grizzlys shootout skill brought home an exciting 3-2 exhibition win Monday night in Drumheller. The first 40 minutes of the Labour Day game was fittingly hard working and tight checking, with no scoring until the final frame. All of the 4 regulation time goals came in the third period and overtime solved nothing. The shootout success leaves Olds with a 2-1-1 pre-season record with one final tune up game tonight. The Grizzlys first and only home exhibition game is the back end of a home and home with the Dragons at 7:30.
The regular season action kicks off with the home opener Friday. There is a pregame tailgate party in the parking lot before the 2013/14 edition of Grizzlys hits the ice at 7:30 to take on the Calgary Canucks.
