October 31- Vs. Calgary Canucks: For the first time this regular season, the Calgary Canucks and the Olds Grizzlys will face off in a Halloween Night matchup, where fans of all ages who are dressed up at the game will be eligible to win prizes throughout the game. The two teams faced off twice earlier this year in the preseason, where Olds won 5-4 in overtime and 6-2 to beat the reigning AJHL champions. The Canucks have been led this year by forward Harper Lolacher whos had 9 goals and 7 assists for 16 points through this season, but will be challenged by both Sean Richards and Braeden Veldhuizen who lead the Grizzlys in scoring with 11 points each.
November 1- Vs. Camrose Kodiaks: These two teams haven’t seen each other since the Grizzlys home opener where both teams played their first game of the season against each other. Olds will be looking for vengeance in this Battle of The Bears game, as last time the two faced off the Kodiaks came out on top coming out with a 8-4 win. Former Olds Grizzly Junshi Hideshima has been a top player in the league to watch as he has 7 goals and 14 assists for 21 points which puts him tied for 2nd in the league in scoring. Joining Hideshima in a return to the Olds Sportsplex is defenceman Quinn Abbott who has 8 points in 10 games and was traded earlier this season for Ryland Molde and Hubert Larose. Molde has had a solid start to his rookie season having 3 goals and 1 assist while consistently being a defensive mainstay for the Black and Gold. Larose has been one of the hardest working Grizzlys playing great and consistent two-way play looking to keep improving through the this season.
