Update: Bantam Identification & Grizzlys Spring Camp

The Olds Grizzlys sincerely hope that you and your family are staying safe & healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic. These are unprecedented times for all of us and for those of you in self-isolation and those who have symptoms of the virus, we know these are extraordinarily difficult times and hope for the best for everyone.

Hockey Canada has mandated all organizations across the country not to conduct activities including camps, skill developments or any other hockey related activities until at least May 31, 2020.  Now saying that, this is a fluid situation and the May 31 date could change quickly to a date further on the calendar, we just don’t know.

The Olds Grizzlys have tentatively rescheduled the following camps to take place, of course, all dependant of Hockey Canada & Government Agencies allowing us to do, on the following dates:

Bantam Identification Camp – August 7 -9 , 2020
Grizzlys “Spring” Camp – August 14-16 , 2020
Grizzlys Main Camp – August 21-23 , 2020

As per the normal, players who attend the Spring Camp will be also competing for the opportunity to come back on the following weekend (August 21-23) to participate in the Grizzlys main camp in order to try to make the Olds Grizzlys Hockey Club.

Our Director of Scouting, Jason Petrie, will be sending out a email in the next couple days outlining more details about our camps to all registered participants.   If you have any questions about the camps AFTER the email comes out, please direct them to Jason via email at scouting@oldsgrizzlys.com .

Also there have been inquires into possible refunds for players who have paid to attend camps on their original dates.   Please be advised that no refunds will be given out at this time until a finalization on if we can actually have these camps or not.  Also, which is out of our control, the Grizzlys office is in the Olds Sportsplex, we do not have access to the office due to Government bans of accessing recreational facilities at this time.

The Olds Grizzlys thank you for your support and understanding during these crazy times.  We wish you and your family all the best and hope everyone stays safe & healthy.
