The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce the LOI signing of 2007 board goaltender Kason Kobelka from the Calgary Northstars U18AAA program. The Calgary product is 7-4-2 with a 2.83GAA and a .910 save percentage this season. Welcome to the Grizz Kason!
The Olds Grizzlys are excited to announce the LOI signing of 17 year old forward Luke Curtin from North Vancouver. The 6’2″, 190 pound forward has put up 12 goals and 31 points through 24 games in the BCEHL with the Vancouver NW Hawks. Last season as a 16 year-old Curtin scored 19 goals and 31 points in 34 games.

The 2008-born Edmonton Jr. Oilers Blue forward finished 24-25 2nd on his team in goals & 3rd in points with 15 goals & 14 assists; Jake spent the previous 3 seasons playing in the #CSSHL with NAX & OHA Edmonton. The 2008-born @CIHACalgary forward played for coach Tyson’s #CSSHL U18 Prep squad before making his #AJHL debut last year with the team as an Affiliate Player. The Vancouver, BC native won the Larry Lamoureux Rookie of the Year Award last season with the VIJHL’s Port Alberni Bombers, leading the team in goals and points; he finished with a final stat line of 31 goals, 30 assists and 61 points in 48 games! We have another LOI signing, #GrizzCountry! The #Grizzlys are excited to bring aboard forward Riley Pederson for the 2025-26 #AJHLseason! The 2007-born BC native played a big role for the eventual #CSSHL U18 Prep Champions RHA Kelowna, finishing with 15 goals and 16 assists in 36 regular season games. He also stepped up in a big way come playoff time with 2 goals and 8 assists in just 5 games! Please join us in welcoming Riley to the team!

The 2007-born defenseman played last season with the Prince George Spruce Kings of the BCHL; prior to that, Brody spent 4 years developing in the @OkanaganHockey Penticton program and finished with 41 points in 97 career #CSSHL games. Please join us in welcoming Brody and his family to the Black and Gold!

The 2008-born @cihacalgary defender spent the last 2 years in coach @tjsoloski’s #CSSHL U18 and U17 Prep programs before making his #AJHL debut with the Grizz last season. #GrizzCountry, please help us officially welcome Zee to the program fulltime as we hope to see him in Black and Gold for many more games to come!
