Another official Grizzlys welcome to 2 new faces! Presley comes from the WHLÂ via the Edmonton Oil Kings, while David was a member of the Portland Winterhawks!
Kerner was the 65th pick in the 3rd round of the 2022 WHL bantam draft to the Oil Kings, where he first made his WHL debut in the 2022-23 season, affiliating with the club. Kerner then split the following season between the Oil Kings and NAX U18 Prep, before being sidelined with an injury for the whole 2024-25 season. We’re excited to see Presley don the black & gold moving forward.
David Hoy made his WHL debut in the 2024-25 season with the Portland Winterhawks where he put up 3 goals and 7 points in his rookie season along with 39 penalty minutes, before he made the long trip through playoffs with the Winterhawks as they went all the way to the conference finals of the WHL playoffs.
