During the Minor Hockey Appreciation Night at the Sportsplex, the Olds Grizzlys introduced the new ownership group: the Friends of the Grizzlys Society (FOTG). The group consists of a group of alumni and local business owners. The same night, FOTG was proud to announce the Grizzly Giveback community initiative. The program is a significant contribution to player development for registered hockey and ringette players in south-central Alberta.
In proud partnership with Skillz Skating and Shooting Center (SSC) the program provides 3 training sessions free of charge at Skillz SSC – Olds. This will provide each registered athlete an elite training opportunity valued at $150.00. Each session consists of:
- 30 min skate treadmill session
- 30 min shooting session
Sessions will be available early 2018!
Players can register at any Olds Grizzlys AJHL home game!
