It?s with great sadness the Olds Grizzlys announce the passing of Bob Clark.
Bob had a long and distinguished political career serving the constituents as MLA of Olds-Didsbury. Bob also served the Province of Alberta in many different capacities over the years as well.
Bob was the general manager of the Olds Grizzlys hockey club from 1987 to 1995, and the President of the team from 1996 to 1999. Bob?s reign with the Grizzlys was highlighted by winning 1992, 1993 & 1994 AJHL Championship and finally winning the 1994 Centennial Cup on home ice in Olds.
From 1998 to 2007, Bob served as Chairman of the Board of Alberta Junior Hockey League and the Junior A chairperson for the Hockey Alberta Board of Directors.
Bob is a 2020 inductee in the Alberta Hockey Hall of Fame.
The Grizzlys organization send their deepest condolences to the Clark family during this difficult time .
