The Olds Grizzlys are pleased to announce the LOI signing of Gaige Giblin from the Connecticut Chiefs 18U AAA team for the 2023-2024 AJHL season.
Head Coach & GM Scott Atkinson had this to say about the signing “Gaige is a player our scouting staff has been working hard to find for our program. We believe that Gaige excels at the offensive game as evidenced by his contribution this season, statistically (50g + 59a for 109pts in 50 games played). His skating and puck protection, along with is hockey IQ will add to our offense next season. His current coach Trent Samuels-Thomas believes “Gaige has the potential to be an elite player at the next level and beyond” this strong endorsement has us very excited about Gaige joining us next season. We are very happy that Gaige has chosen the Grizzlys to continue his hockey journey, and we welcome him and his family to the Black and Gold.”
