Grizzlys make it 3 in a row at home

The Grizzlys edged the Bonnyville Pontiacs last night with a final score of 2:1 and extended the home streak to 3 in a row.

It was a tough game with a lot of back and forth action. The teams were tied at 0 after the first. The Grizzlys turned it up in the second and it was the home team opening the score on the powerplay. Josh Borynec made it 1:0 at 7:40 in the second, assisted by Paker Ward and Kabe Bleay. Midway through the period, the Pontiacs were able to tie the game. This tie did not last long. Owen Guenter restored the lead, assisted by Chase Olsen and Logan Bromhead, to make it 2:1 at 14:59. The Grizzlys fought through and protected the lead to the end of the game. 2:1 was the final score for your hometown Grizz.

The Grizzlys will be back in action for the annual Teddy Bear Toss on Saturday, November 25, at 7:00 PM.
